Easter Weekend

We started our Easter weekend off with a trip the Dodgers vs. Angels game with friends! We rode the Metro down and had a great time even though we couldn't agree on who to vote for...

Brennan and his buddy from church and t-ball Josiah!

These three cuties will all be in kindergarten at the same school next year! So fun!

Saturday morning we had a t-ball game, followed by our church's annual Easter Eggstravaganza!

We also had a birthday party followed by a huge easter egg hunt with friends!

My two cuties with their Easter loot from the ever allusive Easter bunny! Brennan was bound and determined to stay awake and get a peek at him but he failed! Bunny-1, Brennan-0!!

 We hunted high...

and low for our Easter eggs.

So many eggs...and they still had another hunt with the grandparents.

Kaelyn and Ariel enjoyed their Cinnamon Roll Waffles...if you haven't tried this easy recipe you need to!

My attempts at Easter pics failed...

The boy cousins!

The girlie cousins!

These four had a fantastic Easter! Having cousins so close in age makes family gatherings so much fun!

Happy Easter everyone! HE is risen indeed!

Recently...I've been neglecting my blog...let's blame it on the fact that our Mac (aka my photo editing machine and photo storage location of choice) has maxed out it's memory and I HATE to blog without a photo or two to include.

I spent some time today deleting old photos, you know the ones. Where you take 60 pics of your 3 month old in the exact same position just hoping to get the ONE! That freed up some space on the Mac so I could finally download all the pics accumulating on my camera and iPhone.

And now I will bombard you with photos galore...you're welcome!

Recently...okay at the very beginning of March we...

We celebrated this handsome dude turning 5!

Here he is in all his birthday morning glory!

Sissy and Nala got him a gumball machine, which he LOVES!

Be still my heart! Five is much, much too old in my opinion. Five means full time Kindergarten in the fall and homework (gasp) and less free time with mommy!

We partied it up Mario Kart style that weekend! He developed his love of Mario Kart and all things Wii this summer when Dzintars was here!

We've been rooting for the Dodgers!

Bren's outfield stance, we believe he's trying to summon the ball to his glove. The force is strong with this one I tell ya!

This girl has been playing with mommy's phone during T-ball practice and taking self portraits, like 48 times!

We took our first ever roadtrip to Gramma and Grampa's without daddy by mommy's side.

Then we rewarded ourselves with donuts the next day for surviving!

We spent a week up north visiting my family and enjoyed loving on these two cute little boys.

These goofs went on their first hike.

One of us had a pity party on top of the mountain because she was T.I.R.E.D!

So at 3 1/2 and way, way, WAY too many pounds mommy had no choice but to throw her in the Ergo and continue down the mountain.

The kids and I returned from a week away at Gramma and Grampa's to this good news!! We sold our house, in one week, hence the reason I decided to take the kids and "get out of Dodge"!

We've been dreaming about the day we move into our new place...it's rapidly approaching...

Recently...

These two have been "scootin" around town!

And most recently...as in today...

This boy got all snazzed up (with fancy shoes and everything) to attend a play and eat at a fancy restaurant with his Pre-K class!

He's pretty stinkin' adorable if I do say so myself, and I do, often, I can't help myself:) But what's even better than his cuteness is his heart for others! This kiddo raised over $70 for orphans this weekend selling fruit from our backyard trees! No one told him he had to donate the money, he chose to, all on his own! He's going to change the world one day!

Consider yourselves all caught up...
