A Pirate's Life for Me

When I was a sophomore in college my roommate moved out mid year and left an empty bed in my suite. Enter Jenn, the most awesome roommate ever!

Jenn was dating Ryan who had a suite mate named Peter and they introduced us.  Junior year we all moved into apartments, one for us girls, one for the boys. Lucky for the boys Jenn is a great cook and I wash a mean dish so we had "family" dinners OFTEN!! By early fall Peter and I were dating,  and less than two years later we were married. Jenn and Ryan soon followed! Now, eleven years later we have six kids between the two couples. 

We don't see each other nearly enough, but always try our best to attend all the kiddos birthday parties. This month their son, Joshua, turns 4 so off to the beach we went this weekend to celebrate pirate style! Argh!!

Argh! Beware of Latvian pirates, they be makin' ye walk the plank!

There were "cannon ball" water balloon fights between two pirate ships.
